Were Webbs your first choice?

We wanted to go local. We had an idea from looking over Pinterest. Then we tried a few local spots and Webbs came back with the best design... and price!

We already knew what we wanted, we had something in our mind but, it was helpful for Webbs to put that on paper and show us. Even little things like the shelves, and the island, they worked them well.

Nothing was an issue. They just made it all work.

What made you choose Webbs over other local firms?

Obviously we took a lot of other companies into account, we wanted to give every one a try. When Webbs came back with the design they were helpful, they kept coming out to visit to see how it was coming along.

We went to some places and the quality of kitchen didn't meet our expectations. Some of the ones that did were way above what we wanted to pay.

Webbs ticked all the boxes for both quality and price.

Did you choose high quality appliances?

Defiantly! We went for high quality products and we did expect the price to come in really high but it was really good.

All the Neff stuff, it was really reasonable.

Was it a smooth creative process?

The design ideas were mainly from Pinterest. Because it's a big kitchen we knew we wanted a big island but, how big could we have it? So Webbs said how far we could go with it.

We went in with all our measurements and everything, we'd kind of got a design from another company but, we only liked some of the ideas but not all of it, so we did have an idea of what we were wanting but they tweaked all the little things that the other company didn't do for us.

How did you overcome any issues you faced?

There wasn't anything major that went wrong, just a few wrong cupboards round the fridge. So we just said 'these aren't what the designs said we were having' and it was no problem, they get them sent out a week later. It was really quick.

How have you found using your new kitchen?

It's good. We have a good group of friends, so we always have get togethers. The island seems to be where everyone stands around. It's very social. It's quite a large kitchen but, because we've got the bay window and everything like that... It's good for beer pong! We've had a few beer pong games which has been good.

DO you have a favourite part of your new kitchen?

I definitely have a favourite part; I like the shelves in the corner. The island’s obviously cool, and the beer fridge (I call it a beer fridge, it's a wine fridge but it's full of beer), but I do like the selves, it gives it more space, rather than just filling it with all cabinets.

How did you choose your colours and materials?

With the colours, we always had in our mind we wanted to go greys and whites, with a bit of oak in there as well.

When we met up with Webbs they gave us some ideas of what colours they had. They even said, go a little bit different on the island bench, go with a little bit of a darker colour, which obviously, has worked.

We wanted to go wooden floors, so we tied the wood in around the island, and the shelves as well. So it works.

What's been your overall impression of your Webbs kitchen?

As soon as you walk through the door, you see the kitchen straight away. It's a Webbs kitchen; it's a really good quality kitchen. There's not a fault.

It's inspired us for many more kitchens that we're going to develop in the future.

We used to think, your stock standard kitchen, you just think of wall units and cupboards but, when you bring in a funky island bench and those shelves, it works!
